The 2nd Mobile Offshore Drilling Units Convention 2012 will be held in Singapore, global leaders in oil rig construction, for the second time. It aims to bring together key players of the offshore drilling sector for a 2 day event of networking and sharing of knowledge and experience.
The technical committee includes Mr. K S Foo, Executive Director, Keppel Offshore Technology Development; Mr. Anis Hussain, General Manager, Keppel Deepwater Technology Group; Dr. Arun Dev, Director, School of Marine Science & Technology, Newcastle University (Singapore); Mr. Deepak Chopra, Manager – Technical Operations, Aban Singapore; and Mr. Erwin Huysmans, Technical / Maintenance Manager for Sevan Drilling.
Companies who would like to promote their technology and share their experiences with other professionals in the offshore drilling sector are welcome to present a paper at the 2nd Mobile Offshore Drilling Units Convention 2012.
The technical programme committee invites papers on the following topics:
The abstract, which should not exceed 400 words, should be sent to us via email. The program committee will review the written papers to ensure that the content is in line with the objective of the conference. Papers of purely marketing / commercial nature will not be considered.
In line with the conference theme and objective, the program committee is careful in selecting the topics and invite speakers to present papers on their own experience to share with the conference participants. All final papers must be written in MS WORD, to facilitate publication of selected papers in PetroMin / PetroMin Pipeliner. PowerPoint used for presentation will not be considered for publication.
