The theme of this welding technology conference is to improve the joint integrity and increase productivity. Over the years, welding has been more of an art than a science, but in the last few decades major advances have taken place in welding science and technology. With the development of new methodologies at the crossroads of basic and applied sciences, enormous opportunities and potential exist to develop a science-based tailoring of composition, structure, and properties of welds with intelligent control and automation of the welding processes. ![]() Whether youre looking to showcase practices and procedures in your current workplace, get ahead, or just keep at the forefront of industry knowledge, this Welding Technology Asia 2010 Conference & Exhibition will provide an excellent means for concentrated, efficient exchange of knowledge. Abstracts of papers on any of the topics mentioned below are being actively solicited, although other topics of equal interest on Welding Technology will also be considered. Papers of mainly commercial content are not encouraged and final selections will be on the basis of papers that expand the level of 'composite' knowledge and beneficial to the participants. Suggested Topics for this event are stated below for your reference. The call for papers will address welding, joining issues and developments in the following fields: Processes Materials Design Training & Education Quality Management Engineering applications Fabrication ![]() Interested authors should submit an abstract of no more than 400 words in MS Word format and should state clearly the objectives, subject matter and conclusions to be presented in the full paper. The abstract should be accompanied by the authors' bio data (<100 words) and photo/s preferably in JPEG format. ![]() All final papers MUST be in written 'word format' so that later publication in PetroMin/PetroMin Pipeliner is possible. 'Power Point' submission for publication will not be considered, but the presenter should present his paper using 'Power Point' that covers the main points of the paper and various illustrations. ![]() Your final papers presented during the conference, depending on the strength of the subject, will be published in our PetroMin or PetroMin Pipeliner Magazines (Hard Copies), which are circulated freely to eligible Executives/Professionals in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical and Processing Plants and related Service Industries in Asia. The magazines are audited by BPA International Annualy. The speaker's name, his biodata, company and presentation synopsis will be published and also presented on our Web site: www.safan.com and other marketing printed brochures and promotional materials of the conference. Speakers can also submit their Company logos to be included in our conference promotional materials and on our website (until the end of the conference). If requested, the images can also be linked to their respective websites. This will be an added publicity of their company's participation at the conference.
